YAPI April Notes
It was another fun night at YAPI. We welcomed 2 new performers
to the younger group. It is always fun to hear new people.
The view through the windows behind the performers at Idlewild
is a wonderful backdrop for the stage area. .
Thanks to Sherril Dubois, Kelley Shand and Maggie Cahill who
put the YAPI notice in the weekly newsletters at the Wimberley
Schools. Thanks to our reliable photographer, Stacy Clermont.
Be sure to check out the YAPI photos each month.
YAPI April News
The video taken of YAPI in March is now edited and ready to be
aired on the public access television channel in Austin. Producer
Vicki Hartin chose the original compositions of each performer
who writes so there is a lot of original material on the video.
All the performances are really good. Thank you to all the
performers for participating in the YAPI 2nd Year Anniversary
event and video.
If anyone would like to volunteer to help with YAPI in May
or any other month, or to sponsor an ad somewhere, please contact
Brenda at BFreed1@earthlink.net or 512-847-1022. It would be
cool if there could be one helper and one sponsor per month.
If you are reading this and would like to be added to the YAPI
email list, or if you know of anyone who would like to be added
to this list, please email your/their name and email address
to BFreed1@earthlink.net with “add to YAPI Mailing List” as
the subject. Brenda will send only YAPI email reminders and news
following each YAPI.
Please encourage age 19 and under performers to participate
in the Young Artist Performance Incubator. YAPI provides a safe
and supportive environment for young people who want to hone
their skills, share their talents and explore performing.
Thank you for your support of this community event. See ya’ll
next YAPI, May 5, 2005.
